Mother, may I?

Essa brincadeira é bem legal!! As crianças brincaram essa semana e adoraram!!

How to play:

1. Begin by designating a "Mother"(or Father). This person will change at the beginning of each game.
2. The Mother stands by him or herself at one end, and all the other players ("children") stand shoulder-to-shoulder a desired length away facing the Mother. However far away the children are, the Mother must be able to hear them.
3. The game begins by the first child asking the Mother if they can take a certain amount of a specific type of step (baby step, giant step...): "Mother, may I take 5 baby steps?"
4. The Mother then replies with "Yes, you may," or, "No, you may not." Whether the Mother replies yes or no is completely up to the Mother's whim. However, the Mother must be impartial, or the game isn't fun for everyone.
5. The rest of the children each asks for steps on their turn, and once all have asked, play returns to the first child and continues until a child had reached the Mother.
6. The first child to reach the Mother wins! This child also becomes the Mother for the next game.

Como brincar:

1. Comece escolhendo a "Mother" (mãe) ou "Father"(pai), que será um novo jogador no começo de cada rodada. 
2. A "Mother" fica sozinha numa das pontas e todos os outros jogadores  ("crianças") ficam lado a lados  a uma distância determinada voltadas para a "Mother". Entretanto, as crianças devem ficar a uma distância que permita que a "Mother" as escute.
3. O jogo começa com a primeira criança perguntando para a "Mother" se ela permite que elas dêem um certo número de um tipo específico de passos (baby step, giant step...). Exemplo: "Mother, may I take 5 baby steps?"
4. A "Mother", então responde "Yes, you may" ou, "No, you may not". A resposta da "Mother" é uma decisão inteiramente dela, mas ela precisa ser imparcial, para que todos se divirtam.
5. Cada uma das outras crianças pedem permissão para dar passos em sua vez, e quando todos tiverem pedido, o jogo recomeça com a primeira criança, e continua até que uma delas tenha alcançado a "Mother".
6. A primeira criança a alcançar a "Mother" vence, e torna-se a "Mother" para a próxima rodada!
